out- centre debut

2dae was the first time ever in my entire life i played out- centre during an official rugby game. haha. my debut for out- centre. it so intresting!! so far in my rugby life, i hav only been trained in one position that is scrum- half and not any position. thus, wen they asked me to play out-centre 2dae i was actually shocked la. before that, my coach called me to stand- by 2 play as a winger.. another shock. was mentally prepapring myself just in case.. n suddenly before the game.. kena play out- centre. it was super fun experience though.

i played against basically all my ex-sas coaches.. haha. so intresting. even they were surprised wen i played out- centre. i kept telling manny to cover defence me jus incase i missed my tackle. it was again to my great shock that the out- centre is 2 to 3 times bigger than me. not only i was not mentally prepared, but oso kena some huge muscular guy. god bless me. the game was rather hostile one. both teams wanted to just whack the shit out of each other. quite a few times during the games kicks and punches were exchanged. unfortunatey, there SCC lost to SRC.

the most important lesson i learnt 2dae was... mistakes do happen in a game, but it is wat u do to that mistakes matter. take for example, during a rugby game, wen u r supposed to catch a ball but didnt n it knocked backwards, play still continues. are you gg 2 jus stand there n stare at the ball and let others take it or or run back to take the ball n cover the mess that u hav made. tat was preciously wat happened to me. good thing was i covered up my mess. lucky. wen i reflect on this, i think it can oso b applied to our daily life. yeah.. its not wrong making a mistake, but its wrong wen u dont learn n do anything about ur mistake so as you wont repeat it again.


after the game, while being a reserve for the priemer game, a group of us were talking about army life! haha. of all topics. mabye it was bcos safsa was playing scc in the 2nd game. learnt alot of things. n after As i will be there. the two jonathans was damn joke for sure.
