rookie

SCC Rugby Dinner was fantastic. i really had an enjoyable time there. meeting up with the players whom u last saw them months ago. we all got down together n talked all night long. at times u felt as though something was amiss. but tats life. dinner was sumptous.

the best part of my life came without me even knowing it. they were giving away awards during for oustanding performances during the seaso and i was awarded the rookie of the year!!! i was surprised to get that award. i didnt expect to get it cos i thought there were more first- year players who were better then me. besides, im still young and there's a long way to go for me.

this award just meant that my achievements and contributions have been acknowledge. i shd not get my head too big and think that im good. its only means that i have to increase the expectations of playing and pple too expect more from me. i need to train harder to meet tat standard. this is just the begining and not the end...

is this feeling a blessing or a curse? hah.
