good shit

today was no better then a good day for me. SCC Tankards were playing Bucks in the Division 1 Plate Playoffs Semi- Finals. Two weeks ago, we got smashed by bucks quite badly and people all thought the winner of the playoffs were obvious even before the game started. Bucks are also the league champions after being undefeated since the begining of the season. so they thought they might have an easy passage to the playoffs since they were playing the tankards who got 4th for the league. you could aslo see how confident bucks were looking at their faces.

however, today the scores were not like wat everyone had predicted. it was totally opposite. the tankards played their best today. nick was the first add points for tankards by successfully kicking in a penalty kick. one minute before half time, bucks equalised and it was 3-3 at half time. 2nd half looked better for scc tankards. with a more focused and determined pack we dominated the game. i scored the one and only try through a quick tap off the free kick. like wat others would say, its a typical khairul move. n sorry eh jonthan leow, heard u screaming ur heads off for the ball but i didnt pass. after that try tankards were defending the ball like mad. we had bucks hitting the ball at speed n passing throught the gain line. the fired up tankards were not going to give such a wonderful game away. a few penalty kicks and the score full time was 10 - 6 to tankards.

unfortunately, i got punched two times during the game. n twice was straight at my nose. its freaking scary because the impact is so painful that i thought i broke my nose n now being paranoid that my nose is not straight. haha. anyway, its still hurting now. its also not easy playing with a swollen left ankle. it didnt help much either but the physio did a great job in tapping it. after the game, had dinner at club. it was super funny la. during the man of the match award, usually the player would have to drink down a cup of beer. i got the award but too bad i dont drink. in the end, i got a cup of Coke. can get high of coke lor. chatted with a few players before rushing home to watch the rugby test games.

aus and eng didnt play that impressive. a deserved win for eng. cant believe gregan got yellow card la. like hello!! ur the capt!! ur supposed to be an example to the team. dissapointing la. tsk!
nz and ireland are playing now... obviously it's a one sided affair. all the way Kiwis!
next week will be surely a K.O. week for me. its rugby rugby and more rugby. yeah!

just for the record, i've got man of the match award for divsion 1 (tankards) and division 2 (3rds) and scored in both the semi-finals of div1 and div2. must keep telling myself not to get on top of the world or i'll b dead for sure. great job i've done but its time to carry on. i shall leave this behind me and start afresh. =)
