Day one:
In the morning played stage games. got to do all those acting stuffs. haha. super joke la. in the afternoon played amazing race arnd the whole sentosa. luckily hose hse got she min, a frequent visitor of sentosa! so she was our sentosa guide!! lol! we had to do stupid stuffs too.. like having a game against the pple at the beach.. wen it comes to asking pple.. i tink girls are best at doin such stuff. haha. food there wasnt good but who cares. in the evening learnt songs. at nite was the best! we had candle war!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it was super duper funny la. every1 had to travel in pairs bursting other grp's balloon. i was given the task to defend my grp's ballon. i think my shouting n enthu-ness mus hav scared other grp into bursting our balloons. alliance were all made to attack other grp except ours. we even "opened" our base so tat other grp could light up their candles to attack other grps. haha we even had defense tatics n formation la. LoL! n in the end our grp didnt burst a single balloon at all. at nite. yu rong tried to scare me before i sleep by telling me ghost stories n stuffs. but i guess i was too tired to b bothered!
Day Two:
Spend the whole day at the beach. in the morning.. had a very long tiring walk to the beach la.. we made a raft n had to raft n collect salt. we oso had great skills n teamwork! in the bonus round, the seniors blocked us thus we were not able to finish 1st. haha. n hashim too kicked my face. ouch! then we began throwing our instructors into the water. one by one. haha. instructor ken tried to wrestle us but then something went wrong wif his shoulders.
after lunch. the whole enviroment changed. frm a happy n fun became a very tense n scary one. chief pep was like asking us to fall in n then suddenly starting shouting n screaming at us. after tat, we had a mad run to some god knows where place. a few of us (including myself) were barefoot. n the sand was so darn hot tat u can feeling ur whole foot burning like mad. once at tat place we were taught some basic foot drills. like those u will do wen u go NS or in uniform grp. the main reason y i nv joined unifor grp in my sec sch.. u cld see everyone trying their best to learn the foot drill as fast as possible. chief pep gave us like 30 mins. all those wif uni grp exprience taught us. then, more instructors came. during the "test" of the foot drills u cld see some intructors picking on others. the worst was yet to come.. after tat, the jc2 were asked to squeeze. then the instructors began pulling them apart. u could see how hard n determined they were trying to hold each other n not letting go no matter what happens. they were screaming n shouting n motivating each other to stick together. tat realli touched my heart. seeing them doin tat. the gals then began to cry. wen it was finally the jc1s turn to protect their jc2s frm being pulled away. the jc1s were even more determined to protect our seniors. the first round they tried to pull away all the small built pple. but failed. in the 2nd round, the team up n pick on a few us. i remembered having like 5 pple pulling me. 2 on each side trying to make me lose my grip n another pulling my legs making me lose balance. but yet again they failed. the 3rd n final round, i was beside wei an. he suddenly got cramp n the instructors even tried to pull him out. i helped him as much as i could. holding him n toking to him asking him to relax. once it was over. we immediately helped him stretch. wen chef pep told us the purpose of the activity. most pple started tearing. i was such a emotional thing. everyone then hugged n felt accompolished. i believe tis activity realli helped us bond together as one!
at nite, had a "search n resuce mission" one of ur grp mate got "kidnapped" n we had to do some stupid things to find the keys. my grp did so much jus stupid things like finding for 3 spilt hairs. wen we found our grp mate, jedi, i carried him all the way back. hahaha. we oso had to write wat we felt bout others. kind of lame cos we had to paste the paper behind our sweaty back before finally pasting it on the floor but i guess it was fun and meaningful. haha.
the candle light thing was good. all the lights we off. the onli lights came from the candle. we had to come up n toked bout wat thoughtvn wat we learnt during the camp infront of every1..
we didnt hav any lights off! so cool. so everyone went every where. i didnt wan to play cards so i joined the gals for some chit chat sessions. haha. toked bout lots of things. some of the guys also tried to carry the safari beds where pple were sleeping on it out. didnt managed to do to anyone cos all of them woke up even before we could lift it properly. we finally became too tired n slept.
Day Three:
Woke up in the morning only to be greeted by rain. so our plans to the beach to do reflection had to b cancelled. stayed in the dome. we reflected bout the camp n wat r we gonna do after the camp among our own houses. did area cleaning n sand more songs.. i taught every1 the rubbish bin song. finally, had a de-brief by mr ng before gg back. some of us then went to mcdonalds to enjoy some good n unhealthy food. but who cares. after suffering for almost 3 days its time to treat our stomachs. haha.
now its time to study!!!
