SCC tour

racial harmony day went well. we kept to the time given to us. the jc2s were jus super cooperative i mus say! to tell u the truth, i was rather surprised. but thanks to them they made our work much more easier. now i tink we onli left national day. 2 weeks time (i tink).

on fri. went on a tour with the Singapore Cricket Club (SCC) to negeri sembilan, malaysia. one word to describe the tour: great! i was like a very relaxing n enjoyable tour to malaysia. we went there to play in the Negeri Sembilan (NS) Sevens. we left singapore arnd 7.30pm n the 1st place to stopped was at KFC. god knows where the place is. the chicken was like so hot tat it actually burnt our fingers la. haha. every1 was like damn hungry but jus couldnt eat quickly cos it was tooo hot. countiued our way to negeri sembilan. reach there arnd 12 plus in the morning n to our total shock we found out tat we had a game the SAME day at 8.50am! quickly checked in n took our kit (our jersey, shorts n socks are all provided by the club) cos had to wake up at 6.15am to change n eat breakfast. ashraf was my room mate! alrite.

sat. woke up n it was raining! heavily! since the distance from the hotel to the field is very short. we walked to the field in the rain. taking into account the team has nv had proper training prior to the tour we didnt expect to do very well for the tour. yeah. 1st game was very messy. every1 was getting used to each other's playing style and communication was the major problem. nevertheless we won the game rather convincingly. 2nd game was at 12.30pm. so we walked back to the hotel, took a bath n hang our jersey n short. seriously, after the 1st game, i didnt want to wear my jersey anymore cos it really stinked n the size was XXXL. i was like swimming in the jersey la. during tat time, i took a quick nap. we met arnd 11 n went to the field to find out tat the team we were playing wif at 12.30 didnt come for the tourney. so it was a walkover n we won. so we had a last game to play for the day which was at 3pm. we decided not to back to the hotel worried tat they might push up the timings for the games. so we jus stoned tat n watch other malaysian teams play. last game. played very well. we trashed the team. rather impressive performance. after tat, we went back to hotel n went to the shopping complex which was opposite the field to chill. n opposite the field was a 24hrs A&W. there is nothing much to shop in negeri sembilan. i tink the best place was tat reject shop! haha. sell lots of good stuffs there though they were rejected goods. haha! at nite, had a dinner held by the organisers. some songs were nice but most were OMG! Bad! it was like arnd 11plus wen our team left cos we had a game at 8.30am tmr. tis means tat we had to wake up at 6am n oso my plans to watch the south africa vs aus game had to be sacrifised. but before gg to bed, the whole team went to A&W to eat WAFFLES there! though they took donkey years to serve us, the waffle was nice.

sun. woke up at bloody 6am la! i was super tired. havent been having enuf rest. but who cares. had a super light breakfast which was almost to nothing i ate. we yet again trashed the team tat we played. the was much more teamwork n an improvement in communication. after game, went back to hotel n continued eating my breakfast. then the rjc guys n i went to the pool to relax before our game at 12.30pm. the field was super soft n muddy. it was seriously very hard to run on n oso was a perfect place to collect injuries. haha. we won the quarters which was at 12.30pm. semis was against the might bukit jalil sports sch. a well known rugby power house in malaysia n the defending champs of the tourney. lost the game. though i tink we played hard. but luck wasnt wif us n tat team was obviously a better team. we quickly overcame the sadness n changed up cos we wanna go to malacca. haha. we went to mahkota parade to eat dinner at pizza hut. every ate like the speed of light la. wen the waiter let go of the pizza on the table. in 20 sec it went empty! we oso did some last minute speed shopping. then went back to singapore. reach spore very very late! but i still went sch.
the top try scorers of the team were Bryan n I with 4 tries each.
